Katherine is an amazing photographer with a fantastic personality that is both professional and fun at the same time! We had complete trust in her and instantly loved the style of her photographs. She is super organised and made us feel at ease…like a weight had been lifted as soon as we found her. We decided to have a pre-wedding shoot as we are not hugely confident in front of the camera and she was amazing at making us feel comfortable. It just set us up for the wedding day and we were not as nervous about the whole day knowing that Katherine would be there to guide us through it. Having Katherine as our photographer was a dream from start to finish! Katherine supported us through the uncertainty of a wedding during a pandemic and was so flexible to change with us when we needed to move dates for the engagement shoot and wedding! She gave loads of advice along the way and even signposted us to other resources and suppliers to help our planning. Not being the most confident in front of the camera, Katherine helped us both feel incredibly relaxed and helped created some of the most beautiful images. Simply put: Katherine is incredible… trying to articulate a review for Katherine that does her and her work justice, this review will never feel enough for the gratitude and appreciation we have for Katherine. We spent a lot of time researching photographers and their styles before we set up calls and meetings with a select few, at the end of the wedding we knew memories and photographs were largely all that we would have left to remember our day, so it felt a really important decision to get photography right. As soon as we found Katherine’s website, we knew we loved her style, editing and skills and that it was exactly the sort of way we would want our day remembered. Katherine met with us and talked through our plans and what we hoped to capture of our day. As soon as the initial meeting finished, me and my now husband (hooray!) looked at each other and knew absolutely yes, we had to have Katherine; and we were thrilled when she said she was available to shoot our special day. We had to move our wedding date three times because of Covid. Katherine went above and beyond (with an already full diary) to ensure she could still meet our new date each time it changed, there was no cost implication on our parts and we are eternally grateful to how this was managed at a very stressful time for both couples and suppliers, it made the whole journey so much smoother and we were very appreciative to how this was handled. Communication was clear throughout and was also delivered with kindness and empathy. On the day we were both instantly as ease with Katherine shooting away (for a bride that doesn’t particularly like to be in front of the camera, Katherine really worked wonders to make me feel comfortable and confident). The moments and images captured were everything we had hoped for and more. To put it simply: they were stunning. I asked her to capture not just the traditional shots, but also the details of our day that I had spent 3 years planning; Katherine achieved this effortlessly. Katherine had a great set of packages to suit different budgets and we got so much more from our photography than we expected. The stationary and packages that were used to deliver our photos showed just how much love, care and attention that Katherine pays to her work. It was beautifully crafted and made the ‘after moments’ even more special. Every family member has commented how fantastic Katherine was on the day and I would highly recommend you to choose her if you are looking for someone amazing to photograph your wedding day, I promise you will not be disappointed. In fact, I plan to work with Katherine on all family shoots moving forwards and I can’t wait to see how she captures future precious moments in our next chapters together.
